Inovus Solar™'s roots began as the founders developed solar lighting solutions for cross country skiing, snowshoeing and running trails. These areas are enjoyed after daylight hours and it is critical to have reliable and safe lighting. The challenge in the mountains was how to trench through granite to pull conduit and electrical lines to connect the lighting poles to a master site used to collect and store energy. The Inovus Solar™ off-grid pole is a great fit for applications like this because the cost of connecting and running power to the pole, along with the maintenance costs can be prohibitively high.
